Ticino

Last Weekend, Lars and me decided to have a spontaneous getaway to the italian speaking part of switzerland. We stayed at our uncles house up in Agarone, which has a stunning view over Locarno and Lago Maggiore. As a matter of course Lars an myself need to have activities throughout our days, so we had the splendid idea to take the train to Locarno, have breakky there and then spend the day in Ponte Brolla which is located in the valle maggia (Maggia Valley). Its well known for its beauty and cliffs of the canyon where, amongst all the great other things, the championships of cliff diving are held;)
Lars presented beautiful dives and backflips called Auerbach from 7 and 10 metres high Cliffs, I just jumped down "normally";) We had a great picknick and then returned to Tenero`s bagno publico, where we met Urs and Magi for dinner. The following day we enjoyed the beautiful view off the balcony whilst having a cuppa(well me, Lars was still asleep) and after an hours walk to Paracentro, the airport and skydiving school which our uncle runs and manages, some time with urs and magi , we took the boat to locarno, where we had luncha nd enjoyed a swim in the lake before we took on our journey to go home from Bellinzona..
