My darling best Friend and my Godson

This afternoon I met up with my gorgeous girlfriend and her Son (and MY absoulutely wonderful godson) Shen at the lake of constance for afternoon Tea.. They both look great and it was so precious and wonderful to catch up and spend time with them:) Thanks you two!!:)

Seealpsee

After a lovely Family Dinner Saturday night at the first and leading Vegetarian Restauran Hiltl in Zurich, Nina and Sergio came back here with us. Seeing they really enjoy the fresh Mountain air (they live in Kloten, Zürich) we decided to take a hike up to Seealpsee with them (Mum, Dad,Lars and I).Seealpsee is a lake in the Alpstein range of the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden, Switzerland and os located at an elevation of 1,143.2 m. The lake can be reached by foot from Wasserauen(where we left from) or from Ebenalp. As Lars and me like to take a pretty fast and powerhike we left seperate. As we didnt want to sit around and wait we had to come up with some Idea (as usual) to occupy ourselfs;) So I went for a quick Ice Cold swim and we then took a rowing boat and enjoyed some sunshine and peace out on Seealpsee..a beautiful day:) On our way home we had to prove our mechanic skills as one of our car tired busted due to a piece of Metal which got stuck on the street..all done within only a couple of minutes..I can just say: Frischi Power;)

Ticino

After taking the Hybrid Boat from Bellagio to Como and a super speed shopping tour trough Como, I took the Train up to Ticino (the most southern part of switzerland which is italian speaking) to stay with my wonderful uncle Urs in Agarone. Seeing my Friend Anina and her Boyfriend Leonardo were staying down there too and were keen to have a skydive, I organised everything at Paracentro where Urs is in charge and was able to take some snapshots aswell as joining Urs and the two in the Plane (seeing Urs was the pilot). After their jump we went to get a picknick and spent a wonderful afternoon at Ponte Brolla (where I was with Lars the other day--> see older posts).. Beautiful weather, water, jumps off 7 and 10meter Rocks and of course great company;)

Italy

How wonderful having been able to spend lovely 8days in Varenna and Bellagio with Sara, Peter, James and 6 Week old Jemima. Varenna is a comune on Lake Como in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60km from Milano. Bellagio has long been famous for its setting at the intersection of the three branches of the Y-shaped lake, which is also known as Lario and also is situated at the tip of the peninsula separating the lake's two southern arms, with the Alps visible across the lake to the north.
Anyway..I went down there to meet the Vaughans and go to Peter`s Sister Bec`s Wedding which was held at the Church in Varenna and then reception (one of the most beautiful receptions I have been to ever!) at Villa Cipressa a few steps further down the street.. We had a wonderful time together and I already miss them lots..:(

Ticino

Last Weekend, Lars and me decided to have a spontaneous getaway to the italian speaking part of switzerland. We stayed at our uncles house up in Agarone, which has a stunning view over Locarno and Lago Maggiore. As a matter of course Lars an myself need to have activities throughout our days, so we had the splendid idea to take the train to Locarno, have breakky there and then spend the day in Ponte Brolla which is located in the valle maggia (Maggia Valley). Its well known for its beauty and cliffs of the canyon where, amongst all the great other things, the championships of cliff diving are held;)
Lars presented beautiful dives and backflips called Auerbach from 7 and 10 metres high Cliffs, I just jumped down "normally";) We had a great picknick and then returned to Tenero`s bagno publico, where we met Urs and Magi for dinner. The following day we enjoyed the beautiful view off the balcony whilst having a cuppa(well me, Lars was still asleep) and after an hours walk to Paracentro, the airport and skydiving school which our uncle runs and manages, some time with urs and magi , we took the boat to locarno, where we had luncha nd enjoyed a swim in the lake before we took on our journey to go home from Bellinzona..
