Sacred Monkey Forrest Ubud - Bali

From the Rice fields down to the next impressive sight. The monkey Forrest is a small rain forest dwelt by some group of monkeys and other tropical animals. It is strategically located in the hearth of Ubud village. The monkeys are believed as Gods Guard of Dalem Agung Temple, The Hindu Temple which exist in the middle of forest. There are three Holy Temples there and have been existing surround the forest and estimatedly built in the middle of 14 century. We absoulutely were stunned of the gigantic trees and lianas on which the monkeys swang across with a speed of light at times. It should be about an hours drive from denpasar but as we managed to get lost in the streets of denpasar each time we had to drive trough, it took us ages! no bother as the nice thing about travelling, you dont have to be anywhere at a certain time (well, thats at least our idea of travelling). At this stage we were getting pretty sore on our back parts from sitting on the scooter though..:)
