Roadtrip up North

Once more we all hopped into the car after work on Wednesday night and drove up North. First stop at Annas in Geraldton, where we helped her unpack her newly arrived outdoor furniture on Australia Days morning , 26th January, and turned her Garden into a Chillaxing space in no time. A few hours later we found our selfs in Barb and Stans Kitchen, being welcomed with much love in Kalbarri.. out Home away from Home .. :) The rest of our Week was filled with adventures and trips , with sun and fun, the people we love and the beauty of the west australian nature..Lars even got a Surf in at the famous Jakes Point, a dream for a surfer and very challenging due to the shallow reef..i had so much fun taking pix for about 1,5 hours and proud of shame of the shots i got;) blissed out as always we took in every second with appreciation and filled out memories with sparkles and shine..:)

★Tinnie goes Carnac Island ★

Sean was so generous and was up for an adventure with his new Tinnie he bought just last week.. so we decided to meet bright and early at Point Walter , down past Fremantle towards Rockingham to hop into his Tinnie and find our way over to Carnac Island amongst all the big Boats, Waves, Seals, Sharks and easterly Winds blowing us around;) The fun never ends..
Blissed out with meeting some Seals ( a few of them were MASSIVE) , cruising around the Island, stopping to Chillax and do some Freediving.. due to the huge amounts of Sharks recently ( and of course it didn't quite help being surrounded by that many seals..you all probably know: where theres Seals, theres Sharks) we all kind of had a funny tummy feel and didn't swim out too far as it was real " Shark Weather" .
Drunk of Sunshine, fresh Saltwater Air and another amazing day with great Friends..

Christmas

Once more in my life I was blessed with a great opportunity to hit the roads with Lars and some friends and spend Xmas up in the north or Western Australia in Kalbarri. Garth, which is Lars housemate and has become a good friend of ours, as well as Bianca(whom has also become a dear friend to both of us), both grew up there.Therefor we were able to stay at Garth's parents where we camped in a vintage camper van with palm trees, a breathtaking sky full of stars and the sound of waves each and every night. Singing birds and the magical flattering of the hundreds of Dragonfly wings woke us with the soft and warm light of the rising sun each morning. Every day was jam-packed with activities and unbelievable adventures, experiences as well as treasured moments (well, every second of the time we left Perth up to arriving back there again really!) which will live in our memories for the rest of our lifes.
Christmas day was celebrated with a grilled, aussie Breakky, then preparing the huge ammount of indeginously tasting and huge variety of foods ( Fresh Cray Fish we went fishing for that morning, Prawns, Salads, Ham, Turkey, Fruit, Pavlova, Triffles, Cakes and and and), Beers, wine, lunch, water fights including every single family member and guest!!!!!:), more drinks, more food, laughs, giggles, sun, fun, boccia, fantastic, openhearted and amazing people and conversations and to cut it short, just having a tremendously great christmas in about 42degrees heat:) The following days were filled with fishing, cray fishing, eating, eating, eating, drinking, wakeboarding, walking, kayaking, laughing, happiness, peace, sleeps(only very few hours though)road trips, farm visits, beach, cliff jumping, and most possible fun on earth! We absoulutely adore and love the north, kalbarri, the coast, the gorges and garths whole family!
So here some Pix to make you jelous if you are sitting in minus 30 degrees swiss mountains with beautiful thick snowflakes falling, snowboarding and candles and fire burning inside, all rugged up with a cup of hot wine punch ( i guess i admire you for this as you can tell;) but as one always says, we can't have everything in life can we...or do we at times?!)
